The book features a whole range of exercises for the intermediate and advanced saxophone player.The effects of tuning (pulling the mouthpiece in or out) are not linear. That is, a 1/8" or 5mm or whatever movement of the mpc, whether in (sharper) or out (flatter) will affect the high tones far more than the bottom end of the horn. The higher you go, the more distorted the effect of mpc position on tuning of the notes.Jinbao is the least expensive wholesaler in China and sometimes quality control is an issue, but they play well enough for a $300-500 soprano. The design is similar to the Yanigasawa 992 series. Just don't expect a Yanigasawa quality or sound.
